A letter from the President
What an absolute honor it is to get to serve as the KT president this year. I cannot believe the graciousness of the Lord in bringing me to this position. When I think about the Lord’s faithfulness in my life, KT is all over that picture. My prayer for Kissimee this year is that we push each other towards eternity, towards hope. I think about everything that seemingly has been lost this year due to covid. I think about hearing the word “cancelled” more than I ever thought I would. I think about not being able to see people’s faces. I think about how we have lost just being able to be with each other. But one thing I was reminded of recently is the truth that Deuteronomy 2:7 holds. “The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.” I was reminded that in the past year with seemingly so little, we have lacked nothing. We have lacked nothing, because we have had Him. Kissimee is a reminder of that to me. That we do not lack, when we have a relationship with Jesus. I have experienced friendships that point me back to this truth through the peoplwe in KT. The truth that a relationship with Jesus is what fills. He is our hope, and that is enough to be more than content. As far as I know, many people in KT love the Lord, and the Lord loves Kissimee. He is present and moving in our tribe. Because of this, we lack nothing. And what a joy that is to experience. Forever humbled to serve these awesome women this year. Thank you Kissimee. Thank you Jesus. I’ll never be able to say it enough.
With lots of love,
