a letter from the Vice Presidents
We are both so excited to be serving as Kissimee’s Vice Presidents for the 2021-2022 school year!! It is our joy and honor to lead in our tribe and facilitate the New Member Process. Over the past three years, Kissimee has been foundational in our experience at MC. Kissimee has provided us with friendships, memories, and leadership opportunities that have been a blessing in our lives. Our motivation behind running for this position was to share the joy that Kissimee has brought to us daily. We look forward to sharing this joy with the New Members and hope that they will be blessed with the same inviting community. Our goal is for the New Member Process to be a stepping stone into Active Membership in Kissimee. We want the Process to be a time intentionally dedicated for the Active Body to welcome in the New Members and prioritize building relationships and community in KT and on our campus that will set New Members up for success. We want every girl to have fun during the Process and to feel accomplished, known, and a part of Kissimee every step of the way.
To the Potential Active Members, we are so excited to meet and get to know you. You are cherished and are already being prayed for.
To the Active Members of Kissimee, thank you for giving us this opportunity to serve you and for the outpouring of support. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and we love you dearly.
To the alumni of Kissimee, thank you for the foundation you have laid and the path that you paved for us. We are forever thankful.
With Love,
Caroline and Emma

Meagan & Madeline's favorite part of the new member process
"I would be a liar if I said my favorite part about the Process and KT in general are anything but the people. My best friends are in Kisssimee Social Tribe. They are some awesome and special gals. Getting to know them during the process, is what formed my love for this tribe and its people. Each and every girl has something so unique and incredible that they bring to the table. I have learned something from each and every one of them. The process was just a time when I knew that no matter what I was walking into, it would be okay because I was doing it with 50 of my best friends. When I look back on that time, the only thing that comes to mind is the Lord’s faithfulness. Going through the KT process is definitely what the Lord used in my life to help me find my place at MC. I learned so much, not just about my tribe and my new friends, but about myself. The members of KT love me well and always point me back to the cross, and for that, I will always be grateful. |
"My favorite part of the New Member Process was the constant feeling of community. On Squeal Day, I ran home with 50+ PNMs into New Men’s Rotunda where we had 90 actives that greeted us with nothing but joy and love. Since then, there has never been a time where I have felt alone. My process class sisters encouraged me daily as we walked through the New Member Process together. Whether it was a process event or Follies practice, I was always surrounded by the best group of girls I have ever met. The memories we share and the friendships created during this time will forever be cherished. I am so thankful for Kissimee and my New Member Process for specifically providing me with my best friends - especially the relationship Meagan and I share. To serve alongside her this fall is the greatest blessing and I truly would not have done this with anyone else." |
